How To Submit Your Charity

  1. Create a short video about your organization and its mission, the impact you have on the Greater Portland community, why you should be chosen, and what it would mean to your organization and those you serve. This can be a very casual, short video, nothing too fancy, and please, no longer than one minute!

  2. Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo and include the link to your video below OR Simply use #fouracause2018 on a public video on either Facebook or Instagram by the end of the day, Wednesday, September 19th.

  3. Voting opens at noon on Thursday, September 20th at noon. Once we've verified that you qualify under our rules (below) and approve your video, you will receive an email with instructions to collect votes in our new voting system.

  4. YOU MUST include an email address with your submission!

  5. Voting closes Monday, October 8th at NOON, the top four videos with the most "Likes" will get a table at our November 30th event at Aura!

  6. The final four will be announced October 10th. Good luck!

Rules: Previous winners not eligible. To be considered organizations must be Maine-based, non-profit, and their work must impact the Greater Portland community. 

Why Four A Cause?

The Four Finalists Will Receive:

  • A two minute video to promote your organization professionally shot by No Umbrella Media. This must be filmed between 10/10 and 10/26. This video will air during the event and is yours to keep for future promotion. For examples, please visit 2017's charity page here to view last year's final videos!

  • Four passes to the Four A Cause event

  • A custom 2'x3' banner with your logo to be used at the event and for any future promotional needs

  • A booth in a prime location at the event with the chance to get in front of 500+ donors

  • Any donations your charity receives during the event

  • Social media presence on all of Benchmark's accounts as well as inclusion on all marketing materials
